Be it therapy, coaching, or consulting, our fundamental orientation is experiential which means that, unlike more traditional approaches that focus primarily on talking, we help you actually have new and profound experiences that enable you to resolve core issues, move forward unencumbered, and, ultimately, get the life you really want.
Our integrative approach is informed by current findings in the fields of psychology and neuroscience allowing us to provide you with the most up-to-date and effective care. In our commitment to offer you the best possible service, we continue to refine our skills by consulting and training with other experts in our field. You can be assured that we will do our best to guide you to the most appropriate service and intervention to best meet your needs.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a transformation-based approach that fosters new and healing emotional and relational experiences. Focusing on your here-and-now experience, we work closely with you to feel safe to do the emotional work needed to change and heal. Together we identify what is happening that gets in your way, and help you break free from old patterns to do things differently. You’ll learn to make use of the healing resources and strengths you inherently possess so that you can move forward in your life feeling more alive, vital and more deeply connected to yourself, others, and the world around you. You can learn more about AEDP here.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective, integrative therapeutic approach that can be used to address a wide range of problems. It has been shown to effectively decrease or eliminate the symptoms of post traumatic stress and significantly reduce the length of treatment. EMDR helps resolve symptoms by reprocessing traumatic and disturbing events, memories, thoughts and feelings so that they no longer affect your well being. We will help you identify and process through unresolved experiences and current triggers and assist you in developing the skills needed for future success. You can learn more about EMDR here.
